Making a house a home

Well, it is finally starting to feel real. Pam, Dave and James came over last night and helped us get the living room and dining room situated. I would say another week or so and we will be ready for people to come by...Anyone for a road trip?!?! Well we miss everyone a whole bunch and hope all is well with you all.

Noah finds out he is a boy...

Well Noah now knows what separates him from the girls. I tried putting him on the potty this morning and he was a little afraid of it so I figure I will give him a few days and try sitting him on it again. We have been sleeping at the house for 3 nights now. Still working hard to get everything cleaned and put away. The kitchen was the big project and it is mostly finished. We are taking Kara and Jeremy lasagna tonight. They just had a little girl last week that weighed 7lbs. 8ozs. just like Noah. Hope everyone is doing well.

Iowa update

*Revised*
We made it to Iowa just fine. Matt and I have a lot of work to do in the house to get it cleaned up from all of the construction, but Matt's parents and Uncle James have been a big help watching Noah while we work on the house. Hope to get pictures taken of the house and up on the blog within a week or two.
We went to a wedding this weekend and had a great time. Been shopping a little for things we need for the house.
Hope to talk to you all soon!

False Alarm

Well it turns out that Noah doesn't have the chicken pox, but has a throat infection and bug bites. The blisters in his throat set us off on the wrong track. He will be on Augmentin for 10 days now. Poor little guy!

Some New News

Well I don't have any pictures to upload and I am waiting on Matt to upload the others, but I do have new stuff to tell everyone about Noah.

First of all, Noah's seventh tooth popped through on June 4th. That same day I had the doctors from Gainesville call in a prescription for an ear infection for him. During all of this he just hasn't been his normal happy self, but a couple exciting things have happened. A few days ago Noah used his first compound sign- more food. It was really neat to see him make the connection with the more and wanting food.

Also, he is walking at least as much as he crawls now. It is sooo funny to see him walk because he walks very fast, so fast he cannot keep up with himself and usually falls forward. Although he is doing well developmentally, he has also developed chickenpox. He has the biggest blisters in his throat and more and more little red dots popping up all over his body. He has been running a fever for the last couple of days and I think his throat is hurting. Well, that is all for now. Pray for little Noah's health!

Prior to the move...

On the Memorial Day, Jen and Joel Searby hosted a party for all of us friends to get together one last time before the move. We ate pork and brat's, hung out by the pool, and of course played some games- catch phrase, outburst, and what if. "What if" was definately the big hit and we played probably 10 rounds before we gave it up. We had so much fun and cannot wait until we can all get together and do it again!

At the pool...

Jimmy looking thrilled that I am taking a picture of him and his beautiful wife Katie...

Jen planting a wet one on Joel...

Josh planting one on an always giggling Krystle....

The group...

The crazy pic and my personal favorite!!!

Renae and Chris came to say goodbye too, but had to get back to their fam!
