The Iowa State Fair

Wow, what a day yesterday was at the Iowa State Fair. With the heat index of 106 and enough breeze to move the thick air a little, we did quite a bit of sweating and quite a bit of drinking. by the time I realized we didn't have any pictures of the three of us at the fair, we looked like drowning rats on their way out of this lifetime. Needless to say, we did not take any pictures of us, but had fun at the Ag Challenge contest, meeting up with Dave, Krista and kids, seeing the butter-cow and looking through the many exhibits.

We left around 2pm and stopped in Ames so Noah could get his wiggles out and we could see Dan and Lynn. This morning I had an appointment to get a physical so that I can have surgery tomorrow. Matt and family will be dealing with the little guy without me for a few days. Hopefully his teeth hurry on through his gums cause he has been a pickle!

Hey guys! We miss you! We all got together today after church at Josh and Krystal's for a cookout. No games (unless you count the Wii) but it sure was fun. Well, I guess as fun as it can be without you three:( We're all looking forward to seeing you. No baby here in the Searby household yet. We'll let you know as soon as there is!
love, joel (and Jen and Evan too)
