Ultrasound decisions

So, Matt and I are again on opposite sides of the debate when it comes to whether or not to find out what we are having...only this time he wants to and I do not- ha! So we go on Wednesday for the ultrasound and have not totally made the decision whether or not to find out. We are planning on having the Ultrasound Tech write down what it is on a card and seal it. Matt and I are going to open the envelope...we just haven't decided the timing. I think it would be fun to wait this time...however I am not petrified by the thought of having another boy. I now know how to be the mommy to a little boy. Noah says he is going to have a sister because he is a brother. But when I ask him, "what happens if mommy has another boy?" His respose is, "well then you will have two boys," which I think is so funny! I think it would be fun for Matt to be able to call and make the announcement, "It's a _____" but we can do that at anytime... so I guess in the next few hours the decision will be made...

Well my vote is to find out. It is still a suprise when you are at the ultrasound plus then you get to start calling the baby he/she instead of it. I think it helps you connect with the baby. And then maybe you guys can decide on a name before you actually have it!

My vote is to wait! Haha now it is tied. It was exciting to go through all that hard work during labor to find out at the end. Josh really loved being able to anouce it to me too, even if it took him a second to realize Landon was a boy because he was so excited.

Katie- finding out last time sure did not help us decide on a name and we knew at 18wks with Noah!

Krystle- I am with you this time. Plus I think it would be fun to do it differently...I am trying hard to convince Matt to wait...but I am going to utimately go with what he wants since he went with what I wanted last time!

Hey... I vote find out too! But opening the card later sounds fun. Especially since you are not absolutely ready. We found out at our ultrasound... but still didn't pick the final name until he was like 1 1/2 days old and they made us sign the birth certificate at the hospital... he has just baby boy Birkett for a long time!
